The Korean meal consists of grains as its staple food and vegetables and meats as side dishes. If you try to taste Korean barbecued pork or beef, take Galbi, popular favorite, sweet and tender grilled pork or beef ribs. Also, Makgeolli, an ancient Korean rice wine, is one of the most popular traditional liquors in the country.
